Data Protection Senior Associate

Our client's award winning commercial technology group is looking to take on a senior Data Protection lawyer to help to build and develop the core data protection practice, which has a remit to grow over the next 12 months. You will have experience of taking the lead in advising on relevant UK and EC data protection and privacy legislation, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating agreements containing information and data protection law clauses. This experience will have been gained within another law firm and/or in-house. You will have strong client skills and a demonstrable passion for this area of law.

This role presents the opportunity to work independently to build your own practice, whilst working for and alongside a partner, within a genuinely flexible and collaborative working environment. Still a small but growing team, it is an exciting time to join and to play a key part in the development of the practice moving forward. There is no culture of "facetime" at this firm, and lawyers are given as much independence as they can handle, and are encouraged to go out and network with clients from an early stage.
