An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Interim Governance Legal Advisor to join an organisation based in East Anglia.
The position is offered for an initial period of 6 months; however there is the potential of further extension beyond this.
It is essential for this role that you are someone with lateral thinking and that you possess a can-do facilitative type approach. A background of working in Local Government is desirable but not essential.
Duties of the role will include:
- Designing, developing, documenting and implementing new governance arrangements.
- Developing proposals, governance structures and a consultation exercise.
- Undertaking an internal governance review of the organisation, developing the Authorities Overview and Scrutiny function and helping to review the Constitution.
The position offers an attractive rate dependent on experience which can be discussed on application.
