Corporate PSLOur client is a c60 partner mid tier City firm with a strong corporate practice dealing largely with private company clients on small to mid cap M&A, joint ventures, private equity, partnerships, and some smaller scale ECM. It seeks an experienced corporate lawyer, not necessarily with prior PSL experience, to join on a 3 day per week basis to be the sole corporate PSL. Responsibilities to include:
* Client facing know-how initiatives (in particular preparing regular client updates, articles, participating in and preparing submissions to consultations)
* Drafting corporate standard forms and documents (updating, maintaining and developing corporate precedents; updating and maintaining the deal bibles bank)
* Monitoring changes in the law
* Alerting the team of important legal developments
* Organising and holding corporate training sessions
* Central source of legal and practical expertise and best practice for the corporate team
