Corporate Lawyer

With business levels consistently strong, the demand for Corporate Lawyers in Jersey is extremely high at present and as of September we are actively seeking applications for the following openings with a global offshore law firm:

• Corporate (NQ-Sep 18/Mar 19)
• Corporate (1-3 years’ pqe)
• Corporate (Senior Associate-5 years’ pqe+)
• Investment Funds (NQ-2 years’ pqe)
• Investment Funds (3 years’ pqe-Senior Associate)
• Corporate/Funds (NQ-4 years’ pqe)

The practice is broad-based and can accommodate lawyers from a general corporate background or those with expertise in areas such as M&A, private equity or investment funds. You will need to have trained/practised with a good onshore law firm – City credentials are valuable but lawyers from leading regional/international firms are also encouraged to apply.

Jersey is a first-class offshore financial centre whose entities play a key role in many of the biggest cross-border transactions worldwide. As a consequence, their lawyers gain exposure to an outstanding range of work, often in smaller teams which afford more responsibility and client contact than is typical in the City.
