Private Client Solicitor

A fantastic Private Client Solicitor opportunity has opened up with one of our clients who is looking for someone to join their Clitheroe based team. Our client is a well-established and award winning law firm and the role would be based within their Private Client Team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who has a real interest in wills, property and probate, and who wishes to work in a friendly and flexible environment.

The role:

As a Private Client Solicitor working for the firm's Private Client Team in Clitheroe, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Making regular contact with clients and agents, developing these relationships with clients and surpassing their expectations
• Providing support and assistance to the department and ensuring the development of the firm in line with the business plan
• Handling a busy caseload with minimal supervision
• Operate a Case Management system
• Participating in marketing activities and actively promoting the firm's full range of services
• Managing client work allocated by the Head of Department or other fee earners in accordance with policies, procedures and quality standards
• Ensuring that all client work is processed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on realistic outcomes, progress and on costs
• Achieving agreed levels of billing and time recording per annum
• Providing support to the other team members as required
• Understanding and contributing to the team's objectives plus working to promote the firm's values

The candidate:

The successful Private Client Solicitor must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to deliver an outstanding client service. They must also have the ability to work as part of the team, show flexibility in attitude and have the ability to prioritise work and to work to strict timescales where required. Ideally, the successful candidate should also be experienced in in Private Client Law including wills, probate, LPA's, Trusts, POA, estate administration and Court of Protection matters and have 2-5 years PQE.
