12 Month FTC: Corporate Employment Paralegal at top US Law Firm: to £35,000

A prestigious US Law Firm is looking to hire a new Employment Paralegal to join the firm on an initial 12 Month FTC, specifically working within the Corporate Employment practice focusing on providing transaction support to the firms Corporate and Private Equity M&A team in addition to working on advisory and contentious stand-along employment matters.  Responsibilities will include  senior executive remuneration and incentive arrangements, including management equity plans and broader UK and US employee share schemes and long-term incentive plans,  financial services and insurance regulated remuneration issues and senior manager certification regime,  senior executive terminations and global mobility issues,  setting up business in the UK, including employee and contractor status and tax issues,  corporate immigration issues; and  advising and coordinating multi-jurisdictional projects.  Other duties include performing employment due diligence for both buyers and sellers in transactions, drafting due diligence reports, drafting employment related documents, including employment contracts, settlement agreements, and retention bonuses, carrying out research tasks, preparing advice memos on standalone employment matters, keeping on top of relevant employment law developments and assisting with the preparation of internal and external client updates, general project management, including co-ordination of local counsel; and managing, organizing, and compiling know-how and precedent material.  Candidates must be a future trainee standard, having obtained a minimum of a 2:1 at university.  Previously Corporate/Employment Paralegal experience within a City law firm is required.  Stunning offices are based in the city.
