Litigation Lawyer

Our client is a supervisory authority in the Channel Islands; they have an opening for a Commonwealth qualified solicitor or barrister to work on their in-house team. The ideal candidate will have solid litigation experience. Other desirable experience includes regulatory, commercial and/or corporate law. 

The successful candidate will be working on enforcement matters. This is a key role in the organisation.

Duties will include:

• Providing legal advice for the conduct of enforcement cases.
• Representing the authority before a Tribunal or Senior Decision Makers.
• Assisting the Director of Enforcement.

Applicants can be from either an in-house or private practice background, but should have the aforementioned litigation skills and experience.

The authority strives to deliver high quality regulation, and to promote a regulatory environment in which firms can operate innovatively. As an enforcement lawyer you will play a key role in this.
