London – agile working options

Up to £85k plus 10% car allowance plus bonus

A truly unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT lawyer to join a business of excellence, working with leading professionals to develop, implement and maintain one of the most ambitious ‘once in a generation’ programmes in the world.

Reporting directly into the Head of Legal, working alongside another senior commercial IT lawyer, you will be required to provide legal support across the programmes, acting as the trusted legal advisor to the commercial and procurement team.  This will include managing risks arising from contractual arrangements, assessing regulatory risks as well as providing general corporate and procurement advice. 

To be successful in this role you will be commercial astute and have comprehensive experience of advising on commercial, technical and regulatory issues.  Given the high value / high quality work on offer you will ideally be currently working in a Top 50 law firm or currently in-house with experience of negotiating large scale £multi million software, technology and commercial contracts. Experience in the gas and electricity sectors in the UK would be advantageous.  Offices are based in London, however this opportunity includes agile working arrangements.
