Are you an experienced Employment Solicitor looking to make a move to a Top 100 firm in Oxford? This opportunity would give you the chance to work closely with the Employment Partner at an exciting Top 100 firm. Their unique approach allows Lawyers to gain incredible experience and become even more technically strong, fully rounded and commercially minded. Their Lawyers are business generators and I would describe them as dynamic, entrepreneurial rain makers.

The Firm

This firm is a leading law firm in the South of England and provides a range of services to both businesses and individuals. They have a network of offices across Somerset, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and London.

For a regional firm, they tend to deal with work that you would usually associate with firms in the City and clients include some big names.

The firm is a true advocate of a friendly culture. They have a relaxed approach, though of course all work very hard.

They put their staff first! As they have been awarded a Top 100 Places to work, they are incredibly good at "giving back" so there are plenty of benefits that come with working for such a firm.

The Role

They are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their rapidly expanding Employment team working on a broad base of employer & claimant clients.

From day one you will be managing a caseload dealing with Employment cases & transactions. The work will be a mix of contentious & non-contentious matters with a focus on Employer clients. You will also be given the opportunity to coach and mentor more junior lawyers.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Employment Solicitor 4+ years PQE.
  • Broad employment experience in both contentious or non-contentious issues
  • You must be able to manage your own caseload & delegate work
  • Strong client management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to coach & mentor junior staff

In return, you will receive an excellent benefits package and salary is very negotiable dependent on experience/the individual, although it is thought it would be an above industry average figure.
