A mid-size London firm is currently looking to hire a junior banking solicitor for a broad banking and finance role. This full time, permanent position allows the individual to gain banking experience across many different sectors.
Role and Responsibilities
The general banking lawyer can expect to be involved in a broad range of matters. These include acquisition finance, asset finance, art finance, financial services, leasing, project finance, property and development finance, and trade finance.
The solicitor will be working as part of a team which acts for both lenders and borrowers, including:
- Retail Banks
- Private Banks
- Bridging Finance Providers
- Private Individuals
- Property Developers and Investors
- Corporates
- Hotels
The banking team also works with alternative investment houses such as hedge funds on innovative financing transactions, many of which have an international aspect. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking to develop their banking experience in a variety of areas.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate is a junior lawyer with:
- 2-4 yrs PQE
- A strong academic background
- Training from a peer firm
Salary and Contract
