Role and Responsibilities

As a solicitor within the data protection team, you can expect to:

• Assist clients with all of their compliance and risk management challenges
• Draft policies
• Provide advice on legal issues, risk management strategies, and strategic governance

The legal team also plays an important role in the development of public policy regarding the future regulation of privacy.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Ideally 1-2 years PQE
• Experience of data protection law gained within a top tier firm
• Experience of the financial services sector
• A strong academic background is essential
