Legal Counsel role with an instantly recognisable global brand in a fast moving, ever-changing sector.

With a background in corporate or company commercial law gained either in practice or industry, the Legal Counsel will join a supportive UK team of 5 providing strategic advice on a wide range of matters across various corporate functions.

The ideal candidate will have c+ years PQE with a proactive, commercial approach and the ability to handle multiple key projects. The team are seen as true business partners, supporting key functions on a range of complex and strategic transactions therefore strong relationship building skills are key.

Key duties will include -
- General corporate law, company reorganisations, JVs, acquisitions, share buybacks
- Company secretarial matters and governance
- Corporate compliance
- Commercial Contract negotiation and drafting including IT, supply, finance, non-disclosure
- General project work including data privacy, technology, tax, ethics, risk management, training.

Previous in-house experience is not essential and this could represent a ideal first move in-house for a corporate lawyer looking to diversify their skill set

The role is based South Midlands, Northern Home Counties in state of the art modern offices.
