Your new company
This growing international business have experienced strong growth over the last few years. Their environment is lively, down to earth and fast paced with a passion for client service. They are now seeking an in-house solicitor with good quality experience in the Commercial field to join their legal team. Reporting into the Group Legal Counsel, you will be supporting them directly, specifically on the contracts side. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal counsel who is looking for an autonomous position with plenty of stakeholder contact.

Your new role
You will be joining an entrepreneurial company and will be comfortable making commercial decisions quickly and confidently. You will have strong commercial contracts knowledge, drafting and negotiation skills, and demonstrable an ability to handle conflict and provide legal advice in an appropriate and timely manner and understand the effects of key regulatory issues on contractual terms. An understanding of data protection would be desirable but is not essential.

What you'll need to succeed
Your experience should be of good quality, but there is flexibility on experience levels here and we would encourage applications from candidates from 2 years PQE upwards, having trained either an in-house environment or recognised commercial law firm. Experience in the financial services industry would be desirable but not essential.

Skills required:

• You will be a commercial Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE
• You will have commercial contracts knowledge, drafting and negotiation skills
• You should have a strong technical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships is key
• Financial Services sector experience is desirable but not essential
