My client, an international law firm based in London with an outstanding offering in the shipping sphere, has an active need at the 2-4pqe level for a talented shipping disputes associate to join their team in London.

The team in which the role is based is market-leading and offers some of the highest calibre of work that is available to an associate at the desired level. The role will offer exposure to both wet and dry shipping matters and offers a genuinely exciting breadth of matters - dealing with a range of matters from insurance disputes in the marine sphere to the hostage related situations at sea. Other matters that the team advise on include shipping and terminal matters, cargo insurance disputes, salvage matter exposure and marine casualty disputes as well. Those that wish to be considered for the position will ideally have prior experience of dealing with a number of these matters, particularly with marine casualty matters as this will play a key part within the role.

The opportunity to work alongside market-leading and well known practitioners within the shipping disputes market, work with an impressive international client roster and earn a competitive remuneration package is available. The PQE mentioned is only a guide. Anyone with the necessary skills to succeed may apply.
