Our client is a well-respected mid-market bank and is looking for a finance lawyer to join their corporate and institutional banking legal team to cover a maternity leave starting over the next few months.  This role will primarily support their Fund Finance desk, working extremely closely with the business from the beginning of a deal through to post-completion matters.

Responsibilities will include, amongst others:

·               Negotiation and finalisation of transaction documents in respect of, but not limited to, loans including facility agreements, security documents.

·               Drafting, negotiating, and advising in respect of confidentiality agreements, support letters, mandate letters, term sheets, and other relevant documentation.

·               Assisting in structuring transactions and documenting credit and investment proposals.

·               Manage the provision of external legal support.

Ideally you will have a minimum of three years' PQE, with experience in fund finance transactions and other financing activities on a cross-border basis.  The bank is looking for someone that is ambitious, with proven ability to project manage transactions simultaneously and make optimal risk decisions.  In return, you will be given a lot of autonomy and the opportunity to work commercially with a business that works flexibly and promotes individual thinking.
