Legal Counsel

Your new company
An asset management company that has grown substantially since its creation this decade with state of the art offices in Central London. The firm now manages more than $1 billion in assets. The company's continued growth has led to them expanding their team.

Your new role
As the Legal Counsel, you will be a leading figure in the legal team. Your role will involve advising on financial services regulatory matters affecting the company and ensuring that relevant regulatory developments are brought to the attention, as well as providing legal support for investment funds, M&A and capital markets transactions, as well as corporate matters. You will also review and advise on client-related documentation and commercial agreements, and be responsible for GDPR compliance and its implementation.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor who, as a guide, has 5 years' PQE. You will have previous experience in financial services, either in practice or as part of an in-house team. You will also possess strong drafting skills, and have good knowledge of the FCA handbook.
