Senior Construction Solicitor
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Construction Solicitor to join a well-established and reputable firm at their offices based in Liverpool. They have several offices spread across the UK and are highly regarded nationally.
The Construction Department is part of the firms wider Real Estate team. The team provides a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of commercial property. They advise on and draft heads of terms, development agreements and associated construction, planning and site disposal matters, funding arrangements, freehold transfer and associated due diligence procedures, grant assignment and lease renewals.
They are paying a competitive package of c.£50,000+ dependent on PQE level experience. In addition, a fantastic benefits package is also on offer which includes 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays, health insurance, critical-illness cover, death-in-service and childcare vouchers.

The role
You will have at least 8 years PQE with experience in non-contentious construction matters. Some experience of contentious construction i.e. disputes (including adjudication) and advising clients on dispute avoidance strategies is preferable but not essential.
In this role you will receive support and assistance from junior members of the team. You will be dealing with a non-contentious construction matters for a broad range of clients including employers (public and private sector), developers, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants.
In addition, you will be capable and confident with delegating to, and supervising, junior members of the team, along with providing training to junior members of the team and clients.
