Business Development and Marketing Executive

This specialist international law firm is seeking a Business Development and Marketing Executive to join its team, offering a broad range of tasks and a high level of autonomy to work alongside the BD Director, the partnership and fee earners. The firm has a strong international focus with expertise in Africa and other emerging markets.

This role is split 60/40 split between business development activities and marketing communications. As Business Development and Marketing Executive, your role will involve developing client relationships, targeting/winning new business and profile raising through BD and marketing comms. Responsibilities will include:

• Writing and managing business development plans for respective practice groups;
• Developing target pipelines by geography on topics such as key industries and leading companies;
• Developing and implementing marketing communication plans;
• Assisting in event, seminar and internal event production;
• Working with partners on pitches and creating pre-pitch reports;
• Being a central point of contact as part of the CRM systems team.

To be considered for this role, you will need business development and marketing experience in a legal or professional services environment. This firm is looking for a candidate that is commercially aware, and possesses excellent writing and software skills.
