Immigration Supervisor/Solicitor

The firm is now embarked on a period of expansion as a legal aid provider of immigration services and is currently seeking to recruit an immigration solicitor / supervisor. Your new role
Dealing with a broad range of immigration and asylum matters, the firm is looking to recruit the right candidate to join as a supervisor of Public Funding Legal aid for Immigration & Asylum Department and business development initiatives. The firm's ethos are very much 'hands on' approach to work and the firm relies on latest IT technology to process client matters. Other responsibilities will include, Supervisory role in publicly funded immigration matters, Asylum and human rights cases, Refugee matters, Domestic violence and statelessness issues, EEA, naturalisation and registration applications, Indefinite leave to remain, Business development and marketing initiatives and Able to work on own initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
* A solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of three years PQE in public immigration & Asylum matters
* Accreditation by the Law Society's Level 2 IAAS and with supervisor status
* Strong advocacy skills and the ability to explain complex matters in clear accessible language
* Have excellent client care and time management skills
* Undertake business development and marketing initiatives
* Client following will be advantageous but not essential
