This council in Lincolnshire are looking to recruit a Locum Childcare Lawyer with expertise in public law children's cases and associated advocacy.
This position is offered on a full time basis (40 hours per week) and there will be some flexibility granted in the work schedule arrangements. The contract will be offered for an initial 3 months but is expected to be renewed on an on-going basis.
Duties will include:
- Conducting advocacy at all levels in the Family Court
- Advising officers on all matters relating to the Authority's duties in relation to safeguarding children and regulated services
To be successful in this post you will need to be flexible, customer focused, a team player and able to apply your skills innovatively and proactively.
The successful applicant will be a lawyer with a relevant qualification (Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX), or will be someone who has equivalent and demonstrable experience in public childcare law.
An hourly rate of £40 - £45 per hour (inside IR35) is offered for this post.
