ULR Property Team Leader

ULR Property Team Leader – Cheadle, Stockport - £30,000

A rare opportunity has become available to join a specialist legal claims solutions firm in their growing Greater Manchester office based in Stockport as a ULR Team Leader. 

Due to continued growth my client is looking for an experienced Team Leader to supervise a team of file handlers in the conduct of pre-issue and post-issue ULR Motor and Property Subrogation Claims.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Manage a caseload of both pre-& post-issue ULR (Motor & Property Subrogation) claims (20% of full caseload).
• Appropriately review and risk assess all claims within a triage process.
• A technical understanding of all types of motor and property subrogation claims with the ability to determine prospects at an early stage.
• Comply with all client reporting and process obligations. 
• A technical understanding of small claims and fast track claims.
• Advise clients and their customers with regards to recovery prospects of their outlay and losses
• Advise the clients and their customers appropriately regarding the making of offers or any offer received and conducting negotiations with the opponent as necessary.
• Achieve settlement, litigation or such other targets as notified by the firm.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed knowledge of ULR (Motor and Property Subrogation) claims and detailed Knowledge of the CPR and protocols relating to small claims and fast track.  It is also important that you possess significant previous experience of conducting litigated ULR (Motor and Property Subrogation) claims and have previous experience of supervising and managing file handlers in the conduct of litigated claims.
