Locum Childcare Advocate

Venn Group's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Locum Childcare Advocate to join a Local Authority legal team based in the Northern Home Counties. This contract is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension dependant on work load and the needs of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will be a confident Solicitor or Barrister with a strong background conducting advocacy regarding Family and/or Childcare cases, ideally with previous experience working with a Local Authority. They will need to be confident in attending both County Court and Family Proceedings Court including trial hearings, directions hearing and half day hearings. They will also be confident in performing their own advocacy in contested and final hearings.

Candidates will be considered on a full-time basis for the position, with an hourly rate of up to £40 per hour dependent on experience is offered.
