Head of Legal

An exciting opportunity has arisen at an international Media and Telco company with a footprint in five continents; due to a maternity leave they are looking for a Head of Legal to act as the sole counsel in the UK.

The role reports into the Global GC based in Europe, with a dotted line into the Managing Director.

This role is uniquely central to the business, with all legal matters in the UK running through it, and would appeal to an experienced Corporate/Commercial lawyer with 5+ years' PQE.

You would support the UK business as well as its international subsidiaries and will be exposed to commercial, corporate, property and employment law as well as international work.

Experience in negotiating complex commercial contracts (customer & supplier) within a TMT environment is desirable, as well as experience in the TMT sector. You must also have familiarity with data protection, privacy and security issues.

Exceptional leadership and communications skills are also essential, as well as a dynamic personality and a strong background in providing high quality legal and regulatory advice in the UK.

Proficiency in other languages, especially French, would also be an advantage.
