A multinational consulting firm with a 2017 turnover of over €19bn is seeking a legal counsel to join the growing in-house team at their UK Head Office in Luton. You will work full-time on a permanent contract and receive a salary of up to £50,000 per year.
Responsibilities of your new role
Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, your primary duties in this legal counsel position will include:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts;
- Assisting with litigation matters;
- Providing legal and commercial advice to the sales, marketing functions and stakeholders;
- Managing and mitigating legal risk issues; and
- Mentoring and Support: direct line management of junior members of the team, as well as offering general training to the business.
Candidate requirements: Skills, experience and qualifications
The business expects to hire a legal counsel who can demonstrate:
- NQ-4 years of PQE;
- Strong commercial contracts background; and
- Desire to work in a large business and take on a more involved, commercial role.
Corporate lawyers with transferable contracts experience and seeking a more generalist role will be considered.
Salary
An experience dependent annual salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum is on offer for the successful legal counsel.
