Legal Counsel - Structured Products, 2+

This well known corporate and institutional bank is looking for a lawyer to join their established legal team and to support the Financial Products Group, Central Treasury and DCM.

Responsibilities will include, amongst others:
- reviewing documentation in support of structured product issuances and retail launches of structured products
- negotiating distribution agreements and commercial terms
- providing legal support to structured product debt issuance platforms
- updating and maintaining EMTN programmes 
- providing assistance to new initiatives in onshore and offshore markets 
- advising on wholesale debt issuances for Central Treasury and DCM origination.

This may be your first move in-house, but ideally you will have gained some experience in a bank, on secondment or otherwise.  You will have experience in a wide range of debt capital markets documentation (including debt issuance programmes) and/or retail and wholesale structured products. Some regulatory understanding is advantageous.  A minimum of two years' PQE, gained in a City law firm, is preferential.
