Legal Counsel - December Start!

A unique opportunity has arisen to join the busy commercial arm of a leading university and research group based in central London for a Legal Counsel commencing from early December. This role is initially offered on a day rate contract through to the end of March 2019 with view to extend or potentially go permanent.

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel you will take on a broad role encompassing:

- drafting and negotiating commercial agreements

- supporting on corporate matters

- advising on IP and GDPR

- risk management

- developing and updating contract templates and policies

- providing general legal advice to the wider business

This role is suited to a 1-5 year PQE lawyer (PQE level as a guide only), preferably having trained in private practice. You will bring a skill set covering commercial and corporate experience, the ability to work in a team based environment and manage to deadlines.
