This is an exciting time for the legal team, who seek a senior commercial lawyer to join them, delivering high quality, business-focused legal advice and playing a key leadership role. As Moneysupermarket Group continues to grow and develop in the tech world, this role presents a fantastic opportunity for a career minded lawyer with a passion for an innovative, fun and fast paced organisation. Candidates will have at least 7 years’ experience of commercial legal matters including contract, commercial, data protection and competition law.
  
This Deputy GC role reports to the Group GC and Company Secretary. Candidates will need to be comfortable with stakeholder management and be able to work collaboratively across the company on many levels. You need to be a proactive, self-starter with gravitas and confidence to lead the day to day running of the legal team.  
  
Responsibilities (not exclusively) will include:
1)           Managing a team of 3 lawyers and take day to day responsibility for operational legal work across the Group;
2)           Advising on strategic projects and transactions;
3)           Advising on new legal and regulatory developments e.g. data protection, IP, electronic marketing and competition matters;
4)           Providing continuous leadership, supervision, training and development for the team;
5)           Having excellent relationship management, planning, influencing,  organisational and communication skills;
