A prestigious International Law Firm is looking to hire a new temporary Compensation & Benefits Assistant to join the team for an initial 2-3 Months to support the HR & Comp & Bens Manager in the administration and operation of all employee salary, bonus, benefit and pension programmes.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate, looking or a first full-time role in central London.  Responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for all employee benefit queries and responsible for all employee benefits administration, support the HR Manager in the delivery of salary reviews and bonus programmes for all employees in the London office, maintain the firm’s benefits portal, supporting the HR Manager with the annual election process and coordinating with providers and payroll to implement benefit choices, liaise with the pension plan administrators as required and respond to member queries, produce, check and upload monthly pension contributions, coordinate external survey participation, liaise with survey providers and ensure accurate and timely data is provided, maintain process “bibles” and act as back-up for other team members when absent, check, reconcile and process all monthly invoices of the compensation and benefits team, co-ordinate, upload and check weekly changes from the HR database to the benefits portal, assisting with conducting the benefit induction meetings for all new joiners including bi-annual trainee intake, set up and maintain a benefit provider database including renewal date, key contacts, SLA's and ensuring all contracts are scanned, reconcile monthly benefits reports to ensure any benefit loans are notified to the Payroll Specialist as necessary.  Other duties include assisting with Partner administration, including Partner hire, promotion and leaver processes, new Partner pre-employment procedures including conflicts clearance, medical clearance, background screening and references, arranging inductions for new Partners including training requirements and meetings with key individuals.  Candidates must have previous Compensation & Benefits experience within a professional services  organisation, excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills, strong oral, written and communication skills.  Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm.
