M&A & Corporate Finance

This excellent, top-tier City firm has a fantastic opportunity for a proactive associate to join its highly rated corporate practice and work on a range of high profile multijurisdictional deals in a dynamic, expanding team. The successful candidate will have a real opportunity to make their mark within the M&A and Corporate Finance team and the wider firm as a whole.

Applicants will need to have at least 2 years pqe from a City, international or highly ranked regional practice. Responsibilities include:

*Working in conjunction with a partner on public and private M&A transactions (including many with cross-border elements) and/or equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs and secondary fundraisings
*Liaising with other departments in the firm on transactions and obtaining advice from overseas counsel on cross-border transactions
*Drafting and negotiating key documents
*Managing matters and reviewing work of more junior team members
*Writing articles and briefings for internal and external publications
*Contributing to pitches and proposals
