Management Accountant - We have an enticing opportunity for a Management Accountant who is able to demonstrate the necessary skills to join a leading Law Firm in Manchester. As would be expected of joining a leading, highly innovative national Firm, the successful candidate must be able to thrive in a professional environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills in order to succeed in a fast paced but down-to-earth company.

SUMMARY

• Job title: Management Accountant
• Location: Manchester
• Salary: £35,000 to £45,000
• Other Benefits: Private Healthcare, Flexible start times, Relaxed dress code, subsidised gym membership. 25 days leave (plus statutory days).
• Reports to: Head of Finance
• Previous Experience: Experience of the legal sector is a significant advantage, but true capability, work ethic and attitude are most important. A full ACA/CIMA Accreditation is however necessary to demonstrate your capability.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

It should be no surprise that the role demands skills which encompass monthly management account preparation through to the preparation of the annual accounts, and everything needed in-between – balance sheet reconciliation, VAT returns, payroll support and audit assistance. Additionally, the ability to control internal process, review and identify any weaknesses and implement subsequent improvements should be expected. As this is a Legal Firm, there are regulatory requirements to adhere to, Partnership accounts to administer and Cases to manage on a Work in Progress basis.
