Key Intellectual Property Paralegal duties:
- Commercial Intellectual Property portfolio management
- Research into specific areas of patents throughout the UK and EU
- Working alongside fee earners, paralegals and other departments
- Maintaining contact with clients in a professional manner
- Amending notes, letters, presentations and other legal documents
- Preparing and filing application forms
- Assist with preparation of precedents, evidence and exhibits
- Any other ad hoc patents tasks and projects that may arise
The ideal Intellectual Property Paralegal candidate will have:
- LPC/BPTC qualified or equivalent
- 6 months+ experience as a Commercial Intellectual Property Paralegal
- Is organised, diligent and high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work with your own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite
