This leading international law firm has a great opportunity within their HR team for an experienced legal recruiter. The firm has a friendly and supportive culture in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver an excellent, proactive professional recruitment service to the Firm to attract and recruit high calibre talent at all levels, in accordance with Firm strategy and recruitment budget
  • To assist in the management of the recruitment cycle for Fee Earner Recruitment, this includes secretarial recruitment.
  • To ensure that the Fee Earner Recruitment headcount is managed to budget and that fee earners recruited are of a sufficiently high calibre, by constantly reviewing the most effective/efficient way of screening CVs
  • To informally mentor the Recruitment Administrator
  • To attend interviews as and when required
  • To assist the Recruitment Manager in setting and monitoring the annual recruitment budget
  • To produce and analyse management information as required and as a result make recommendations to the HR Director/Senior Management
  • To assist in the management of direct recruitment, including recruitment advertising campaigns, Employee Referral Schemes and development/delivery of a social media recruitment strategy
  • To manage the Preferred Supplier List (PSL) for Fee Earners, to monitor and review performance of suppliers, negotiate rates and hold agency briefings

Essential experience:

  • Previous recruitment experience in Fee Earner Recruitment including search assignments
  • Experience of recruiting high volumes of roles and ability to cope with the pressure of delivering high volumes of roles within tight deadlines
  • Highly professional manner with evidence of excellent client facing and customer service skills
  • Previous experience of dealing with partners and heads of department/Team Leaders and evidence of earning their respect
  • Able to develop strong client relationships up to Director level
  • Possess the necessary gravitas and credibility to interact with Senior Management
  • Experience of direct recruitment and advertising campaigns, including social media
  • Strong commercial acumen
