Residential Conveyancer.
This is an opportunity to join a well known Derbyshire team who are expanding due to the large volumes of work coming into the firm.
You will either be a qualified solicitor, legal executive, experienced paralegal or licensed conveyancer.
This is an exciting time to join a firm who are currently expanding - who have a good reputation in the community and who gain much of their business through word of mouth. The firm do not pay for referrals.
You will be expected to be able to handle your own caseload of matters across the full remit of conveyancing - including : sales and purchases, re-mortgages, dealing with both freehold and leasehold (including shared ownership properties), new builds, repossessions, deeds of gifts, assents, equity releases, drafting declaration of trusts and other general property related matters.
Applications are invited from candidates with proven experience of working in a busy conveyancing department.
Skills and experience required:
What is important is that you are computer literate and self-motivated , able to handle the demands of key clients, working to their timescales and be "visible" to estate agents and other sources of referral.
Applications from relocators will be considered, however you should be able to demonstrate a commitment to live and work in the Derbyshire area.
Salary negotiable based upon previous experience.

- Minimum of two years’ experience working in Residential Conveyancing managing own caseload
- Ability to work in a demanding team environment
- Manage a caseload effectively
- Proficient computer skills including the proven ability to use a case management system.
- Pro-active approach to your work with a keen interest in Residential Conveyancing
- Ability to work with minimal supervision whilst delivering the highest levels of service
- Proven experience of dealing with clients, their estate agents and introducers of business is essential
