A prestigious International Law Firm is looking to hire a new Legal Project Manager to join the London office 20 hours a week (days are flexible for the candidate).  Responsibilities will include continuing to build momentum around a single, best-practice approach to scoping, pricing and project managing legal matters, working with legal teams and Lawyers to adapt this approach to suit their client- and practice specific needs, to provide the infrastructure to enable Lawyers to benefit from the Legal Project Manager, including scoping checklists and templates, meaningful time recording code sets to generate useful MI, data to help guide pricing decision, regular reports showing progress against time estimate at phase level, post-matter reviews to capture learning points and useful knowledge, application of lessons learned to future matters.  Other duties include continuing to build the firms newly established Legal Project Management framework across the firm, building on take-up in transactional teams, continually adapting standard models to suit specific team requirements, developing a comprehensive set of standard reports, encouraging the uptake of Project Manager responsibility within the matter teams, working with senior stakeholders to gain further buy in, working towards establishing the firms approach as the default approach to matter planning and management across the firm, with Finance and IT teams, ensure compatibility of requirements and tools with existing systems and processes, delivering Legal Project Management training to lawyers and secretarial staff, working with L&D team to establish it within relevant training programmes, support lawyers with scoping, budgeting and pricing and setting up project phases on new matters, design and create reports to provide valuable and actionable MI, conducting data analysis and set KPIs.  Candidates must have previous Legal Project Management experience, great Lawyer understanding and strong communication, change management and Microsoft Office skills.
