Our client, a national savings bank, is looking for a GDPR Compliance Delivery Manager to join their organisation. It is a 6-month fixed term contract based in London. They are able to offer £52,000 per annum pro rata for the 6 months.

The role is responsible for overseeing and managing all data controller responsibilities surrounding GDPR, ensuring all compliance and mitigating risk by ensuring they are uncovered by the risk policy owners. You will be working closely with the organisation B2B Compliance Manager to ensure any GDPR work is compliant with rules set by the organisation and other laws.

Responsibilities

    Collaborating and coordination with the DPO and B2B Compliance Manager to create and maintain a new data protection strategy and legal framework This will be achieved by working with Clients to determine arrangements to ensure all procedures and provisions meet compliance standards.Provide a monthly report to the DPO outlining any issues regarding GDPR compliance across the businessAct as business Manager whilst implementing the joint data controller requirements that fall within GDPROversee documentation surrounding GDPR including the drafting of any technical clauses such as Data Sharing Agreements. Maintain and amend manuals and staff training to ensure it is up to date with data protection laws.
Experience and Qualifications

    Data Protection qualified and proven extensive working experience within data protection Extensive knowledge of legal and regulatory mattersExperience with analysis of documentation and data including, creating policies and procedures by reviewing analysing and translating analysing legislation, and industry consultation papers.Strong privacy law knowledge and implementation of data protection/information rights within a financial services organisation.A good understanding of joint data controller responsibilities following strict data protections rulesGeneral law knowledge and working experienceAny financial services and ICA advanced qualifications are desired but not necessary
