Commercial Lawyer - Insurance

This will be broad role encompassing the following:

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of insurance contracts.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Identifying and mitigating legal risks and upwards management of key risks and issues to the Divisional General Counsel.

The ideal candidate will have excellent academics and have trained in private practice and have gained four years post qualified experience (however those outside of this range, with suitable experience will also be considered). You will have gained recent experience working in - house, at another insurance business. You will have excellent drafting and negotiating skills and be confident working on a range of commercial agreements including technology contracts, data protection and IP. You will have excellent problem solving skills, and have a positive attitude to working collaboratively across the business.
