Corporate M&A Lawyers, 1-3 years PQE

Our client is InsureTech looking for a Corporate M&A lawyer to join its team as an underwriter to underwrite M&A insurance risks (Warranty & Indemnity Insurance and M&A Specific Risk Insurance) and to be an integral part of developing and growing the business.

No previous underwriting experience is necessary but you must have dealt with Warranty & Indemnity Insurance on large corporate M&A transactions.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Analysing deal documentation, due diligence materials and processes employed in M&A transactions, to assess the insurability of each risk.
• Drafting and negotiating bespoke policy wordings to contractually document the risks.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with various distribution channels including brokers, law firms, investment banks, accountants, private equity funds and corporates on the acquisition trail or going through a disposal process.
• Attending client meetings, seminars and marketing events and representing the business at such events.

You must have at least 1 year corporate M&A experience from a top UK law firm. You must be commercial, a team player and enthusiastic.
