Clinical Negligence - Paralegal - Central London

Are you a Clinical Negligence Legal Assistant or Paralegal looking for a role within an Award-winning firm? A growing law firm is looking for a determined individual to join their Medical Negligence team.


To progress to interview stage, you will have the following skills/experience:

* Experience in a Clinical/ Medical Negligence Department.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Ability to cope with difficult situations.
* Ability to work efficiently under tight time constraints.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Role

As a Clinical Negligence Paralegal, you will work alongside Senior members on the team on a number of Clinical Negligence files. Your daily tasks will include are not limited to:

* Ensuring client care is treated as a priority, showing compassion and empathy when liaising with them.
* Liaising with clients via telephone and email, ensuring information provided is treated sensitively, instructions are taken when necessary and queries are answered promptly.
* Reviewing medical records, and preparing bundles of medical records.
* Issuing proceedings, attending trial with counsel and conducting non-complex trials.
* To arrange meetings with external parties for the Head of Department, including necessary travel arrangements, liaising with other team members and other departments.
* Drafting and in some cases preparing legal documents for the approval of the Head of Department.
