Business Development Manager role aligned to Competition, Regulation and Trade in international law firm based in either London or Brussels.

Title: Business Development Manager

Salary: Up to £65,000

Location: London or Brussels

This role is with a major, global law firm which is looking for a strategic and commercially minded Business Development Manager to work in its Competition, Regulation & Trade practice. The role encompasses an international dimension, ensuring BD programmes are developed/coordinated across the firm’s UK and EMEA network.

The successful candidate will help the practice to fulfil its strategic objectives in addition to the planning and execution of a range of initiatives. This involves providing strategic advice to leaders of the competition practice and ensuring effective use of all communication channels. This role plays a pivotal role on:

• Client relationship management and key client activities;
• Pitches, proposals and tender submissions;
• Targeting;
• Brand and profile-raising initiatives including thought leadership campaigns; and
• The management of information, projects and budgets.

This prestigious law firm is looking for an individual with experience in a Marketing/Business Development role within a professional services environment to fulfil this position. Preferably, the candidate will have experience of both working within a Competition practice and in a partnership.

This role can be based in either London or Brussels and will involve travel between the two offices.
