We are recruiting for a solicitor to join our Child Abuse department.

The Child Abuse team brings civil compensation claims for victims of abuse against the individuals and organisations responsible. These cases are extremely important to our clients in their journey to obtaining acknowledgment for the abuse they have suffered.

We are the largest team of child abuse solicitors in the country and we have a proven track record of precedent setting cases, including:

• A v Hoare & others, which changed the law of limitation in this area of work;
• GLB v TH, one of the highest ever awards of general damages in this type of claim; and
• ABC v West Heath, the first case in which damages were awarded to a claimant for sexting.

Some personal injury experience is essential for the role together with a strong interest and passion for this area of work. You will be hard working, energetic and organised with excellent IT and administrative skills. You will fiercely challenge injustice on behalf of your clients. You will also be committed to developing the business of the firm. It is desirable for you to have experience in dealing with vulnerable clients.
