Sellick Partnership are recruiting for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join a large, well-respected public sector organisation based in Cardiff, with access to great transport links.
The Contracts and Procurement Lawyer will be required to join the team for an initial 3 month period, with a possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will be required to undertake a caseload of commercial matters which may include:
- Small value (circa 100k) to complex and high value contract matters
- Draft, negotiate and provide advice in relation to various contractual matters such as:
- EU Procurement
- Goods and Services
- Social care contracts
- Constructions contract - JCT and NEC matters
- Provide ad hoc advice in relation to other non-contentious commercial matters in relation to company law and trust law
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a public sector organisation that are very accommodating of their employees, potentially allowing part time or condensed hours and some working from home. They are also able to offer an attractive hourly rate up to £45 per hour, through an umbrella company (DOE).
While previous experience working within local government is desirable, candidates from a private practice background will definitely be considered.
