Our client is a newly established arm of a more well-known Media Group.
They are looking for a Legal Director to manage legal requests and queries across the group.
Reporting into the Group Global General Counsel and working day to day with the CEO and Chief Product Officer, this will be a high profile role within the Organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating of technology, data and media agreements
- Advising on joint venture or investment opportunities with media and technology partners
- Work with external counsel to oversee the roll out of the business into new markets
- Advising on data privacy and compliance in relation to new products/product features
Skills:
- Experienced commercial lawyer from a Digital TV, Technology or Data Privacy background
- Strong drafting skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate legal speech to commercial teams and clients
- Commercial thinker
- Fluent English speaker. Additional languages advantageous.
