We have been instructed by a client based in Stoke to recruit an In House Property Solicitor to join their team.

Client Details

Our client is a family-owned development, housing and construction business spanning over 100 years who are based in Stoke.

Description

The In House Property Solicitor role will include the following types of work

Preparation of heads of terms

Preparation / approval of contract / option / pre-emption agreement / promotion agreement / overage based on the heads of terms

Preparation of report on title

Oversee request for searches

Raise enquiries before contract on title

Attend any meetings that are required for the progress of the matter

Attend a site visit for purpose of checking development site

Draft section 106 agreements

Complete SDLT documentation and registration applications

Assist others in the department



Profile

The ideal candidate will want to focus on development work. Have effective oral and written communication skills. Have a pleasant and pro-active manner. Be risk-management focused. Have good analytical skill and the ability to priorities and meet deadline. They will be highly organised, familiar with co-ordinating multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive on working to deadlines.

Good communication, proficient with IT (Microsoft packages, Excel etc.) and a high attention to detail, are skills they will possess, in addition to being self-motivated, customer focused, target driven, positive and a team player.
