Your new role
A permanent Legal Counsel position reporting to the experienced Head of Legal, as part of a team of five lawyers spread across Europe. Working collaboratively across the business, you will learn and understand the the business' growth strategy and support stakeholders at all levels in achieving those goals. You will negotiate and draft business-critical agreements including marketing, distribution, supply and partner agreements, while ensuring those contracts comply with the relevant company and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will maintain the intellectual property portfolio and advise ad hoc on data protection, competition and complaints matters. You will advise on advertising and marketing strategies and be ready to support the company's expansion into new jurisdictions.

What you'll need to succeed
This role requires a qualified lawyer with strong in-house commercial experience, with 2-4 years' experience (as a guide only). You will have demonstrable experience in the UK and ideally be UK qualified, but candidates qualified in other major common law jurisdictions will also be considered. You will have excellent commercial contracts drafting and negotiation experience, while showing your versatility in advising on other matters including intellectual property, competition and data protection matters. You will be confident in showcasing yourself as a business advisor across the organisation, and you will be committed with the will to learn and succeed. As a team member, you will have a good sense of humour and will care about building your profile as a reliable stakeholder in a growing international brand.
