SOLUTION ARCHITECT

This is an exciting challenge for an experienced Solution Architect to join a forward-thinking technology focused Law Firm who are currently investing significantly in their IT ecosystem. This is seen as a key role for the firm in their transformation journey and requires someone with demonstrable experience of whole solution architecture concepts and transitioning services.

A Solution Architect focuses on specific solutions or deliverables in relation to the scope/span of a selected business problem. Various options may be investigated during solution architecture design and taken forward to developing the selected solution roadmap. You will need to become a Subject Matter Expert focused on supporting the development of business solution options all the way through to ensuring their delivery in line with the agreed business case.

• Previous Experience: Due to the nature of the role, this requires a candidate already experienced as a Solution architect / Solution Designer / Solution Engineer within a SMB / Enterprise environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The role of a Solution Architect requires an experienced individual with a demonstrable record within an IT Solution focussed role. You must be an excellent communicator, capable of bridging the gap between the technical and business analysis teams. Working on end-to-end solutions development will involve utilising skills to develop varied models (conceptual/ logical/ technical) and produce specifications that you can progress into detailed designs for eventual implementation. You will need to do this while adhering to the agreed business case and system architectures and ensure that timescales and deadlines are achieved.

To be successful you will have prior IT Solution based experience, capable of adapting your approach to both traditional and Agile methodologies as required and have prior involvement implementing SaaS / PaaS services. You will be able to demonstrate prior successes in the delivery of software designs for multi-tiered, modern software application and have worked with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. As technology advances apace, you must be motivated to learn new approaches and enhance your subject matter expertise. To adapt quickly, ideally you will have prior experience in the insurance/legal/professional services industries and knowledge of document and case management solutions and learning and development tools.
