The person will work in a small team and build on their previous corporate and company secretarial experience.

Clients also include banks and other financial institutions. My client has established well-developed international links in leading cities around the world. Core services include corporate, banking and finance, employment; commercial property and property litigation, commercial litigation and arbitration, charities, private wealth, tax, contentious probate and high-value residential property advice.

Description

  • Assisting with the registration of a UK establishment for an overseas entity.
  • Individual bankruptcy, insolvency and Companies Court winding-up checks.
  • Reconstructions of statutory records.
  • Mortgage charge filings.
  • Use of Blueprint and Blueprint OneWorld software.
  • Performing research online and via portals, as requested.
  • Preparing materials for meetings, including preparing and assembling presentations, printing, copying and binding books.
  • Companies House filings and maintaining statutory registers using Company Secretarial software.
  • Involved with filing for annual returns, data protection and NDAs in both hard and electronic copies.
  • Drafting board minutes, resolutions, amendments to articles of association and other documents.
  • A range of company formations including companies limited by guarantee and LLPs.
  • Dealing with share transfers and allotments, particularly in the context of large flat management / leasehold enfranchisement companies.
  • Liaising with the Finance department and Head of Department to ensure the firm and the companies it owned were compliant for Companies House purposes.

Profile

  • Experience of Blueprint is essential.
  • Speak and write English to a good business standard.
  • Be able to communicate at all levels internally and externally.
  • Have previous experience as a paralegal.
  • Excellent IT skills - Word; Excel; PowerPoint.
  • Experience of SOS would be desirable but not essential.
  • Be highly organised.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be flexible.
