Regulatory Defence Senior Associate to Partner Midlands

Our client is a leading UK firm with an enviable national reputation for its work across the health and social care, housing, education, charity and public sectors.

The firm is keen to appoint an experienced specialist regulatory defence lawyer to drive its growing regulatory function. With particular focus on advising on a range of often high profile cases including serious H&S prosecutions, Inquests, fire safety issues, professionals facing prosecution and also dealing with investigations and prosecutions brought by the EA, CQC, fire services and local authorities.

You will be an experienced lawyer with at least 5 years PQE in regulatory defence work and with strong technical ability (experience of dealing with the CQC a particular advantage) as well as the skill and experience to manage clients "in crisis." You will be client focused with a calm and commercial approach and a desire to help grow and drive new business for the department. There is huge scope in this role to shape a market leading regulatory function nationally, drawing on an extremely warm internal client base and with the licence to leverage new opportunities from your own networks and those of the firm.

This is a key strategic appointment and would suit either an existing Regulatory / H&S partner looking for a new challenge in a forward thinking sector driven firm, or an ambitious senior associate (or equivalent) looking for a partnership platform.
