Our clients national banking and finance team advises clients on a range of financing transactions across a wide variety of sectors, often with a multi-jurisdictional element. Acting for borrowers, lenders and investors they are active across a wide variety of transactions including corporate lending, acquisition finance, asset finance, real estate finance (both investment and development), project finance, marine finance and invoice discounting.
In response to considerable practice growth across the firm they are looking to add additional bench strength to their nascent London office through the addition of an ambitious senior finance lawyer. Working closely with colleagues across the firms banking practice and their London Corporate team, it is expected that the successful candidate will be able to lead and supervise on a range of work to include corporate lending, leverage finance, acquisition finance and real estate finance in particular. Ambitious and dynamic with the ability to work positively with colleagues & clients alike, the successful applicant will be ready to take on responsibility from day one, possessing the drive and gravitas to take the group forward.
To be considered, it is envisaged you will either be an established senior lawyer already practicing as a Junior Partner within a Top 50 firm environment or potentially an aspiring Senior Associate at a leading City firm that is looking to secure an opportunity that can either offer an immediate or accelerated route to Partnership. In all cases, applicants will need to evidence a strong professional background allied to established relationships and growing/tangible business case. Financials do not necessarily need to be significant day one, but rather applicants must be able to evidence obvious promise and clear scope for consistent billings in the future.
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-managed practice that has seen considerable, sustainable growth through strategic and well-balanced lateral hires alongside the internal pipeline of homegrown talent that has been developed in recent years. Financially stable with a strong core business, our client is a firm with a strong professional ethos and growing reputation that places it firmly in the upper mid-tier of UK firms.
