Residential Conveyancing Assistant - The Manchester-based Residential Property team of this leading law firm is currently recruiting for a support role in their Conveyancing department.

- Previous Experience: At least 6 months experience in a conveyancing-related role. The role relates to assisting fee earners with searches and other aspects of a sale / purchase file. It also involves assisting on post completion matters and dealing with the land registry, so any experience in these areas would be highly beneficial.
THE CONVEYANCING TEAM
Our client is a leading full-service law firm with one of the most respected Residential Conveyancing departments in the North West.
They also receive work from an enviable list of Conveyancing referrers who operate throughout the country as well as dealing with the firm's high-net-worth clients. The Conveyancing team, provides a national Conveyancing service as well as a more localised offering to its Manchester client base.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to further growth and expansion a number of positions have emerged to assist the fee earners within the team. This is a crucial role, which enables the Conveyancing department to operate at optimum efficiency. Candidates will be expected to undertake a range of administrative Conveyancing duties including:
- opening new files;
- organising reports and searches;
- undertaking various post completion tasks;
- liaising with the Land Registry; and
- arranging meetings and liaising with contacts and third parties.
IDEAL CANDIDATES
This is a fast-paced department dealing with a high volume of Conveyancing transactions. Candidates need to be highly organised, professional and have excellent communication skills.
Candidates must be capable of working quickly and accurately and possess a real interest in Residential Conveyancing and a desire to grow and develop a career within the Conveyancing Team.
CAREER PROGRESSION
Ongoing career development is a key feature of this role. Paralegals who are recruited as Conveyancing Assistants will be encouraged to grow and progress until they are able to take on a full fee earning position.
