We are currently recruiting for an Adult Social Care Paralegal to join a shared service in the Home Counties.

This is a really good opportunity for candidates who have a litigation or social services background and who are looking to train within this area of law.

The successful candidate will be providing support to lawyers in the preparation of cases in courts and tribunals, mainly relating to adults social care. Your daily duties may include:

  • Carrying out research
  • Preparing applications
  • Drafting documents and correspondence
  • Commissioning and instructing expert witnesses
  • Liaising with witnesses
  • Providing advice and representation in courts or tribunals

There will be excellent training opportunities for you to develop into this firm and be able to work on public sector matters across a shared service arrangement. There is scope for this to transpire with training contract opportunities which are pending in the firm.

Candidates will be based in either Shefford or Huntingdon as a location. There is scope to work from home each week also and flexible working hours making this an attractive place to work.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
